Why Marsupi instead of other popular carriers?

The Marsupi offers impeccable support for both baby and you, even when out and about. And the Marsupi carriers are incredibly lightweight and portable.

It stands unrivalled in terms of ease of wearing. No fussing with buckles, strap length adjusters, sliding babies' legs and bums into 'pockets', wraps, knots and whatnots.

What age is the Marsupi suitable for?

Marsupi carriers are suitable for newborns weighing 3.5kg up to toddlers weighing 15kg.

Mini-Marsupi is recommended for children 3 years and older.

What positions can you wear the Marsupi in?

Marsupi is suitable for both front or hip/side carry positions.

Can I wear my baby facing in or out?

It is recommended to have your baby face inwards when using Marsupi. Try the side/hip carry if you want to offer baby a 'better' view!

Does the Marsupi have good back support?

Yes. The Marsupi incorporates the best support configurations of other carriers, in a lightweight comfortable design. The Marsupi has straps that sit just above the hips so that the hips carry a significant portion of the baby's weight. The shoulder straps allow flexibility to accommodate different positions (both sleeping and awake) to keep your baby comfortable.

Is Marsupi recognised as "hip healthy"?

Yes Marsupi is recognised as “hip-healthy” by the international Hip Dysplasia Institute. This means that the baby carrier provides the correct support for your child’s hips and encourages good hip joint development, which is especially important in your child’s first months of life.

What type of fabric is the Marsupi made of?

The Marsupi Breeze is made of a unique super soft blend of 60% cotton and 40% linen. This combination allows it to breathe, making it more comfortable for both you and your baby, even on hot days.

The Marsupi Classic is made of 100% organic cotton. As this varient is also a natural fibre it is breathable.

Both the Breeze and the Classic will keep you and bub cool and comfortable even on hot days.

What sizes are available?

Sizes within the Marsupi range are based on the wearer, not the size of your baby.
